FORMERLY NH SOCIETY OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTISTS
“New Hampshire Creates”
New Hampshire has long been a home for artists including such notable examples as Augustus Saint-Gaudens, J.D. Salinger and Lotte Jacobi. To celebrate the importance and impact that creative people have on the state, New Hampshire Center of Photography members spent eighteen months making environmental portraits of painters, sculptors, musicians, writers, ceramic artists, photographers, wood craftsmen, chefs, story tellers, actors, and performers amongst many others. This exhibition is not meant to be an exhaustive survey of the creative people in the Granite State, but a sampling of the rich cultural diversity of art and creativity that is active in the state at this moment. Please join us for the reception on April 22, 5:00 to 6:30 PM at French Hall, New England College, 148 Concord Street, Manchester, NH.
Previous New Hampshire Projects Include New Hampshire Now, a book and nine exhibitions documenting life in NH between 2018 and 2020 and Survivors, an exhibition of two hundred year old buildings that still exist in the state.
The New Hampshire Center for Photography is located on the campus of the Kimball Jenkins School of Art in Concord and is a statewide organization with one hundred and forty members.
New Hampshire Creates will be on view at French Hall April 22 through May 20, 2026.
