NHSPA’s 6th Annual Crawford Notch Retreat

April 23 – 25, 2019

This year’s theme: SHOOT– SHARE – SOCIALIZE

NOTE- Membership required ($25.)   CLICK HERE TO JOIN

Don’t miss this chance to hang out with your fellow NHSPA members exchanging ideas, talking shop, wandering the trails with your camera, sharing your work, getting feedback, and making new friends at the evening’s social hour. Come join us this year for these exciting presentations:

·  A mini studio lighting workshop led by Dan Gingras, Treasurer of NHSPA. 1

·  A presentation and demonstration on drone photography presented by David Murray. 2

·  A brief talk by Maya on model / photographer étiquette during a shoot.

·  A photo review: present your current body of work and receive feedback from fellow photographers with the conversation facilitated by Beverly Conway.

· Independently hike and capture the landscape on one of the many White Mountain trails.

· Edit and print your work from the retreat using the Epson P600 professional printer.

· Discuss the possibility of producing an exhibit of the work we created this year.

·  Share your work by participating in our annual print swap.

You may also register to participate in a special Wednesday session “Making the Photographic Portrait” guided by our own Gary Samson working with professional model Maya Tihtiyas. We will have two lighting setups in the Highland Center’s Washburn Room with one dedicated to working with Maya. There will be a limit of 12 photographers working in individual, one-on-one sessions with Maya and she will bring a variety of vintage clothing to help you create a unique portrait. There will be an $85 fee for photographers who participate in this Photographic Portrait Workshop.

The other setup will be available for participants to make studio photographic portraits of fellow members. Don’t miss this chance to refine your skills using the studio lighting setup. There is no charge for this option.

All members are encouraged to attend, but working with Maya will be available only to the first 12 photographers who sign up for that segment of the workshop!
